Uhnder, headquartered in Austin, Texas, has established itself as a leader in radar technology by developing the world’s first digital imaging radar-on-chip. This innovative technology offers significant advancements over traditional systems by detecting and tracking objects with high resolution at speeds of over 50 frames per second, including their height, speed, and distance. It also effectively mitigates radar interference and prevents spoofing attacks, ensuring more reliable and secure performance. The company’s products meet high safety and quality standards, being ISO26262 compliant and AEC-Q104 qualified. In February 2024, Uhnder raised $50 million in Series D funding to further accelerate its growth and expand its market reach. The company’s digital radar technology, which perceives objects that cameras, lidar, traditional analog radar, and even the human eye can miss, was fully automotive qualified by April 2022 and made its debut in consumer vehicles in production later that year. Uhnder also launched the industry’s first 4D digital imaging radar, marking a significant milestone in radar technology.
