Fio Company Information
Fio operates a mobile health IT platform known as the Fionet Suite, which is designed to improve healthcare delivery in community settings by integrating Mobile Electronic Medical Records, Case Management Guidance, and Point-of-Care Testing. This platform has been adopted by the Rwanda Ministry of Health to digitize primary healthcare and is instrumental in managing 8 million HIV patients in South Africa. Additionally, the Canadian government has utilized Fio’s technology for rapid COVID-19 testing at the country’s busiest airport, significantly reducing pre-boarding testing times. Fio’s use of AI algorithms and automated quality controls has notably decreased diagnostic testing errors by tenfold within the initial six weeks of implementation. The company’s Data & Analytics feature offers real-time insights for remote managers and integrates various types of data including geo-temporal, clinical, epidemiological, operational, business, and proficiency data. Fio also played a vital role in managing a dengue outbreak in Armenia, Colombia by providing real-time data capture and generating a detailed heat map of dengue positivity rates.
