ChickTech Company Information
ChickTech is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to empowering diverse technologists and promoting diversity in STEM fields. The organization offers specialized programs for both youth and professionals aimed at increasing retention and building a pipeline of underrepresented technologists. Operating across 34 states and 15 countries, ChickTech reaches a wide demographic of technologists from both urban and rural areas globally. Annually, ChickTech hosts a Virtual Career Fair that facilitates connections between underrepresented job seekers and employers who prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, ChickTech provides a job board for companies to post opportunities and engage with a community of diverse technologists. The organization also sells merchandise, including apparel and accessories, with proceeds supporting their mission to empower women, girls, and non-binary individuals in STEM. ChickTech utilizes a volunteer model that offers flexibility through task- and project-based roles, allowing individuals to contribute effectively to their cause. Each year, ChickTech organizes 46 events and workshops designed to bolster the careers and confidence of both youth and adults in the STEM fields.
