TechPoint

TechPoint is an organization committed to fostering the growth and development of Indiana’s tech ecosystem. It hosts the Mira Awards, an annual gala that honors the best in Indiana tech. The organization operates the Xtern program, which places over 200 students in summer internships with tech employers, and the Xplore program, a career exploration initiative for high school students interested in tech. TechPoint also offers an Adult Apprenticeship program designed to scale with employer needs and remove barriers to entry. The Leadership Academy provides cohort-based leadership training for individuals at all levels. Additionally, TechPoint advances equity by connecting African American residents to high-wage tech careers and offers Education Readiness Grants to help Indiana secondary schools prepare students for tech careers. The organization facilitates Skills-First Hiring workshops to promote best practices in skills-based hiring. Through the Mission41K Impact Network, TechPoint aims to grow Indiana’s tech workforce by 41,000 by 2030. Furthermore, it publishes the Indiana Tech Venture Report, which provides quarterly updates on venture investment and M&A activities in the state.
