Zenflow Company Information
Zenflow, formerly known as ZenFlow, is a healthcare company located in South San Francisco, CA, specializing in medical devices aimed at treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Founded out of the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, Zenflow focuses on developing disease-modifying therapies for BPH. The company offers the Zenflow Spring System, a small implant designed to provide quick and long-lasting relief from BPH symptoms through a simple procedure performed in a urologist’s office. Clinical studies have demonstrated that most patients experience significant symptom relief and recover fully within hours of the procedure. The Zenflow Spring System has been featured at the AUA and EAU 2023 Meetings and was highlighted in a Urology Times article for its promise in BPH treatment. Zenflow launched a pivotal clinical trial for the Spring® Treatment on October 4, 2021, and presented promising results at the AUA 2021 Meeting. The company has been recognized in various platforms, including a Forbes article for being among 50 women-led startups excelling in tech, and a MedTech Stories Podcast featuring Founder and CTO Shreya Mehta. Zenflow’s CTO and Founder, Shreya Mehta, was also recognized as a Healthtech Leader of the Month by the UCSF Rosenman Institute, and CEO Susan Stimson discussed the company’s contributions to urology treatment in a DeviceTalks Podcast. Zenflow participated in the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, impacting over a million patients, and was a semi-finalist in the Medtech Innovator competition in 2015. The company is part of the Y-Combinator W15 batch and operates primarily in the United States and Canada.
