Zoo New England Company Information
Zoo New England is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that manages and operates two zoos: Franklin Park Zoo, a 72-acre site located in Boston’s historic Franklin Park, and Stone Zoo, a 26-acre site near the Spot Pond reservoir in Stoneham, MA. The organization offers a variety of educational programs, including school programs, ZooCamp, and scout programs, and has a strong focus on conservation with initiatives both locally in New England and globally. Zoo New England has received national awards for its conservation efforts, including a recent award for its turtle conservation program, and participates in the AZA SAFE (Saving Animals from Extinction) program.
