Seres Therapeutics is a biotechnology firm focused on the development of microbiome therapeutics. The company’s flagship product, VOWST, is an FDA-approved microbiota-based therapeutic designed to prevent recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection in adults. Seres Therapeutics is actively involved in clinical trials for a range of conditions including C. difficile infection, ulcerative colitis, and graft-versus-host disease. In addition to its internal efforts, the company has established a collaboration with Nestlé Health Science to advance its C. difficile and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) programs outside North America. The company also runs a stool donation program, GoodNature, which supports the development of its microbiome therapeutics.
