Utilidata’s devices are designed and tested at this lab. The company has partnered with NVIDIA to develop the Karman platform, a distributed AI platform powered by a custom NVIDIA module. Karman is designed to anticipate and solve real-time challenges at the edge of the electric grid, providing real-time visibility, control, and flexibility. It captures high-quality data at the meter, enabling utilities to make smarter real-time decisions and improve service reliability while minimizing equipment loss. Karman also offers dynamic hosting capacity analysis, enhances planning processes, reduces interconnection times, and increases overall hosting capacity. Utilidata’s advisory board is a cross-sector consortium dedicated to rethinking intelligence at the edge.
