Roswell Biotechnologies Company Information
Roswell Biotechnologies, headquartered in San Diego, California, developed the world’s first molecular electronics chip, the Roswell ME Chip. This innovative chip integrates single molecules as electrical sensor elements on standard semiconductor chips, allowing for precise electronic measurement at the single-molecule level. The Roswell ME Chip has applications in basic discovery, translational research, precision diagnostics, whole-genome sequencing, and environmental surveillance. The company offers a versatile platform technology that can sense a multitude of molecules on one chip, catering to scientific research, clinical, industrial, and consumer fields. Roswell Biotechnologies secured $32 million in a Series A financing round to further develop and commercialize its technology. Additionally, the company was awarded a government contract for DNA digital data storage, utilizing its molecular electronics technology for next-generation data storage solutions. The Roswell ME Platform aims to integrate genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics, and metabolomics on a single platform, transforming health and scientific research. The scalability of its molecular electronics chip was demonstrated in a peer-reviewed paper, highlighting its potential for broad deployment in various markets.
