New Hope For Kids, established in 1996, is dedicated to supporting children and families in Central Florida who are grieving the death of a loved one and to granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. The organization operates two main programs: the Center for Grieving Children, which provides grief support services to approximately 400 children and their families annually, and the Wishes for Kids program, which grants up to 24 wishes per year to children facing life-threatening illnesses. New Hope For Kids also hosts annual fundraising events such as the BMW Drawing of Chance and Art of the Vine to support its mission. Additionally, the organization offers the Dr. Alan J. Saffran Scholarship to aid the education of children who have lost a parent or guardian. With the help of over 200 volunteers, New Hope For Kids continues to make a significant impact in the community. It is a tax-exempt, approved 501(c)(3) organization registered in the state of Florida.
