Mayman Aerospace, founded in 2016 in Southern California, specializes in the development of SKYFIELD AI-controlled navigation and control software and the production of high-speed RAZOR VTOL aircraft. The company aims to provide military commanders with superior situational awareness and unmatched aerial efficiency. Since 2019, Mayman Aerospace has designed, built, and flight-tested four full-scale prototypes and secured contracts with the US Department of Defense. The RAZOR Air Utility Vehicles (AUV) can form squadrons exceeding 1,000 aircraft and are specialized for missions including ISTAR, C-UAS operations, missile strikes, and cargo transport. These aircraft operate on any heavy fuel and can be refueled in minutes. The RAZOR target drones are designed for modern fighter pilot training, offering capabilities such as rapid ascent, descent, loitering, and extreme maneuverability, and serve as a cost-effective substitute for expensive cruise missiles. Additionally, RAZOR aircraft can extend the range of small Air-to-Air or Air-to-Surface missiles over 400 miles and carry payloads competitive with aircraft ten times their size. The RAZOR P100 is noted as the world’s smallest VTOL aircraft for its payload capacity. The company is also developing AI GPS-denied navigation and control systems and aims to supply the civilian sector with VTOL aircraft for disaster recovery, rescue operations, and delivery of life-saving cargo. Mayman Aerospace has been accepted into the YCombinator program and continues to innovate in the aerospace industry.
