Around Company Information
Around, recently acquired by Miro, is designed to transform the way hybrid-remote teams work together. The platform offers a distinct video call experience that includes innovative features such as meeting transcripts, summaries, a presenter reactions feed, and the capability to share Miro boards directly within meetings. It caters to large gatherings by supporting up to 500 participants in its Event mode. For convenience, Around allows users to download meeting transcripts and summaries, facilitating easy integration into other applications. Although it has discontinued support for its Linux client to standardize the user experience across platforms, it continues to offer a mobile app for both iOS and Android, enabling access to meetings on the go. Security is a priority, with meetings protected by TLS and AES-128 encryption. Additionally, the platform incorporates Echo Prevention technology, which allows multiple individuals in the same room to participate without causing echo, and utilizes artificial intelligence for noise suppression and accurate meeting transcriptions.
