Florian Fincke

Florian Fincke, serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, has been instrumental in developing innovative forest adaptation projects aimed at climate protection. He met his co-founders at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) and has been collaborating with the Boscor Group for over a year. Fincke’s work primarily involves converting monoculture forests into mixed forests that are resilient to climate changes, thereby promoting biodiversity and regional climate protection. He is recognized as the first project developer to offer carbon removals from certified forest adaptation projects in Germany. His projects are meticulously documented in the forest project dashboard. One of his notable projects, named Lindorf, located in Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg, focuses on transforming 318 hectares of pure spruce stands into structurally diverse mixed forests. This project is expected to increase biodiversity in the area by 67% over the next 30 years. Florian works alongside Dr. Gesa Biermann, the Co-founder and CEO, and Leos Paul Bloch, the Head of Business Development.
