Naomi Savioz holds the position of Compliance & Administration - Board Member at SmartHelio, a company based in Switzerland that specializes in advanced data analytics solutions aimed at preventing downtime in solar PV assets. SmartHelio has developed physics-informed AI-based algorithms for early fault detection in solar PV plants. Savioz is part of a team dedicated to making solar assets more resilient and profitable. She is also engaged in a significant collaboration with VERBUND, Austria’s largest electricity provider, utilizing predictive analytics to support their portfolio growth. This collaboration has demonstrated the capability of SmartHelio’s software to detect early signatures and patterns of faults, predict failures, and project associated losses, which could lead to potential savings of approximately EUR 4000 per MW per year from lost revenue if deployed on VERBUND’s assets.
