Her primary responsibility involves working on the accreditation of the company’s forest adaptation method under the ‘Wald-Klimastandard’. This initiative aims to certify the project type and methodology under a general standard, which is crucial for accelerating forest adaptation efforts across Germany. The certification process she manages includes stages such as independent audits, expert interviews, and a public consultation phase. Ronja’s goal is to scale these project areas to encompass many thousand hectares, thereby significantly enhancing the climate resilience of German forests.
