Stephen Goetzinger

Stephen Goetzinger, serving as the Chief Product Owner, has played a pivotal role in leading the Workplace Experiences team at Steelcase. His responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of electronic communications systems. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he managed the transition from in-person to remote and hybrid work models, effectively adapting the company’s operations to new work environments. He was instrumental in increasing the production of new industrial design solutions by nearly tenfold at the onset of the pandemic, achieving this significant ramp-up without the benefit of in-office meetings. Furthermore, under his leadership, there was a 122% organic increase in the adoption of Mural, a digital workspace for visual collaboration, across Steelcase from January 2020 to January 2022.
