Mednet, originally known as theMednet, was founded by Nadine Housri, M.D., and Samir Housri. It began as a platform specifically for oncologists to connect and share clinical knowledge. Over time, the platform expanded to include seven additional specialties: hematology, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology, pulmonology, cardiology, and nephrology. A key moment in Mednet's development was joining the Y-Combinator batch W17, which helped the company gain momentum and resources to grow its innovative healthcare IT solutions.
