The Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. With additional offices in Louisville, Kentucky; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Monterey, California; and San Diego, California, HumRRO provides a wide range of services in human capital management, hiring and promotion, credentialing, and leadership evaluation. As a nonprofit organization, HumRRO offers custom solutions grounded in science and best practices. The organization has a long history of designing, developing, analyzing, and implementing tests and assessments for employee selection, development, and credentialing. HumRRO is a leader in the psychometric foundation of computer-adaptive testing and develops innovative models for strategic human capital planning. Additionally, the organization creates advanced mathematical models and computer simulations to depict complex system interactions and performs various studies to evaluate existing and prospective programs and policies. HumRRO employs a science-based approach to talent management, education, assessment, credentialing, and program evaluation, providing services through contracts such as the government-wide Human Capital and Training Services (HCaTS) and the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). The organization offers a paid, full-time 3-month summer internship program and sponsors two fellowships in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology and Educational Measurement and Evaluation. HumRRO supports federal and state agencies, corporate and nonprofit organizations, and foundations, with a mission to measure human capabilities and advance assessment science and practice.
