Hashboard

Hashboard is a comprehensive data analytics platform designed for data modeling, exploration, and business intelligence (BI) as code. It supports a wide range of integrations, including BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres, DuckDB, MotherDuck, MySQL, Athena, ClickHouse, dbt, Git, and Databricks. The platform offers a Python SDK called Hashquery and features such as funnel analysis, auto archiving of unused resources, and asynchronous DataOps builds. Users can define and visualize event sequences for funnel analysis and utilize pie/donut charts for visualizing proportional relationships in categorical data. Hashboard supports dynamic value labels for charts, period-over-period comparisons, and a BigQuery Cost Analyzer to help reduce costs. It also provides resource version histories, SQL Runner for direct data querying, and a revamped model builder for easier data modeling. Custom SQL attributes, role-based database credentials, table subtotals, and the ability to embed external websites in dashboards are also supported. The platform offers ‘model hopping’ for exploring and filtering other models and data, a CLI tool for managing resources, and data search functionality. Hashboard supports derived measures, a metrics page for tracking company-wide metrics, and a data tray for exploring available data and actions. It allows modeling relational tables directly, renaming ‘Metrics’ to ‘Measures,’ and ‘Saved Views’ to ‘Saved Explorations.’ The platform supports BI as code workflows with Hashboard Pull, collaboration features including Slack integration, and public link sharing. Users can upload CSV, JSON, and Parquet files for analysis, filter and group array values, and configure custom start of week settings for reporting. Hashboard provides dashboard exploration links, a refreshed control panel, and resource protection features. It offers resource descriptions, report sharing via email and Slack, table transposition, deep search for measures, dynamic breakouts, and metric tiles. Users can customize the project homepage, access improved DataOps build summaries, and explore sandbox demo projects. The platform supports single sign-on (SSO) integration, a YAML editor for advanced users, and a public demo site. Additional features include sharing data visualizations to Slack, querying uploaded CSV files with DuckDB, measure filters, access domain configuration, resource lineage visualization, a trash feature for recovering deleted items, and generating invite links for teammates. Hashboard also allows adding customized color palettes, improved attribute filtering, resource history tracking, exploring data with current explorations links, modifying numeric bins, a beta map chart type, a new sidebar for organizing content, renaming attributes, search improvements, and SSH tunneling for secure database connections.
