Anil Ponnampalam

Anil Ponnampalam serves as the Chief Portfolio Officer at Fund Solutions, where he leverages his deep expertise in fund management and asset allocation. He began his career at the Development Bank of Singapore, focusing on equity derivatives trading and structuring. Anil later joined Orion Capital, working on private equity transactions and corporate restructuring. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Finance from King’s College London, where he earned a merit in the taught program and a distinction for his research dissertation. He also completed the Private Equity Executive Programme at the University of Oxford and graduated with honors in Engineering for his undergraduate degree. Throughout his career, Anil has managed assets for a diverse set of clients including sovereigns, pensions, and multi-family offices, and has served on asset allocation committees. He is also a Registered Representative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
