Saba Fazeli

Saba Fazeli played a pivotal role at Beyond Meat as the first R&D engineer, where he was instrumental in developing and scaling the company’s textured proteins. He met Brice Klein, his future co-founder, during their college years where they bonded over shared interests in skateboarding, mechanical engineering, and extreme sports. Fazeli is passionate about the potential of food to positively impact human health, animal welfare, and the environment, focusing on creating flavorful options without relying on processed ingredients. An avid skateboarder, he continues to enjoy the sport and even sports a matching mustache with Klein. Fazeli finds great joy in witnessing someone experience their first taste of Choppy, a product presumably related to his work.
