Dr. Mark Lim

Dr. Mark Lim serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer, bringing over two decades of expertise to the biotechnology field. He earned his Ph.D. from Boston University’s Department of Biology, where he developed innovative reversible colorimetric and luminescent metal chelate-based protein dyes for proteomics. His career is distinguished by his leadership in directing an NIH-supported project that resulted in the discovery and patenting of two novel autoantigen biomarkers for the autoimmune liver disease Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC). Dr. Lim is also a co-inventor on 12 issued U.S. patents and has authored more than 15 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles. Currently, he leads AmberGen’s development of its groundbreaking MALDI-IHC tissue imaging technology, further cementing his role as a key innovator in the field.
