Within is a company that emerged from years of collaboration and experimentation in immersive art and storytelling. Initially launched as VRSE, the Within app distributed many of the world’s best virtual reality stories from creators across five continents and was available on ten different VR headset platforms. Within showcased its work at film festivals, museums, and schools globally, developing a truly international VR audience. The company experimented with multiplayer VR stories, including ‘Life of Us,’ ‘Chorus,’ and ‘Lambchild Superstar.’ Additionally, Within created Wonderscope, an augmented reality reading app for kids, and developed Supernatural, an immersive exercise and wellness experience using Meta Quest and virtual reality. Supernatural transports users to stunning global destinations and features real coaches, allowing users to engage in activities like smashing and boxing targets to their favorite music. The Supernatural community shares how the platform has positively impacted their lives. Currently, Within is focusing exclusively on building Supernatural to help more people find joy in movement and live healthier lives. The Within app will be shutting down as of February 2023, but many of its stories will remain available on their YouTube VR channel as a historical archive.
