HotDrop is an easy-to-install energy monitor that provides real-time, minute-by-minute data and can measure up to 300 amps, with an extended version, HotDropXL, capable of measuring up to 4000 amps. It uses LoRaWAN for long-range wireless communication and is self-powered, charging itself on the wire it measures. VoltDrop offers three-phase monitoring with real-time measurements for voltage and power factor, while PulseDrop (currently in Beta) reads dry pulse outputs from various meters, providing real-time data. Both HotDrop and VoltDrop are non-intrusive, designed for easy installation without downtime, and feature dual-cypher encryption for secure data transmission. They are compliant with various certifications including FCC, UL, and CE, and are cost-effective, with up to 90% lower total cost of ownership compared to competing devices. Vutility also offers CloudVU, an IoT cloud platform that provides real-time energy and sensory data visibility, utilizing a graph database architecture for fast data processing and dynamic relationships. CloudVU includes data visualization platforms ReVU and InVU. Vutility’s solutions are used in over 20 countries and have collected over 1 billion energy data points. Vutility raised $11.75 million in Series A funding in 2020, with investors including Constellation, Chevron, and Cycle Capital Management.
