Tony Casciano

Tony Casciano has built a notable career in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, marked by leadership roles and significant achievements in commercial operations. He formerly served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for overseeing all commercial activities, technical operations, global supply chain, corporate planning, and information technology. During his tenure at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Casciano played a pivotal role in turning around the hematology oncology franchise and successfully launched several products in the competitive specialty and orphan disease markets, including infused products and subcutaneous autoinjectors. Prior to his role at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Casciano spent 16 years at Sanofi and Genzyme, where he led various commercial functions with increasing levels of responsibility. Following his pharmaceutical career, he transitioned to the role of CEO at an MIT medical device spinout, successfully leading the company through its Series A financing round. Casciano holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Bridgewater State University and has furthered his education with executive certificates in Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and in Governance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
