Francisco Diaz-Mitoma

Francisco Diaz-Mitoma, an accomplished medical expert, holds a medical degree from the University of Guadalajara and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Manitoba. He further advanced his expertise by earning a Ph.D. in Virology from the University of Alberta. Diaz-Mitoma founded the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Centre at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, significantly contributing to pediatric healthcare advancements. He also held a pivotal role as Vice President of Research at Health Sciences North. His leadership extended to founding the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada, where he served as both Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientist, driving forward medical research and innovation.
