Konrad Miller

Konrad Miller serves as the Senior Director of Process Development at Solugen, where he leads the translation of scientific breakthroughs into scalable new technologies and products. His interest in winemaking initially drew him to chemical engineering. In addition to his role at Solugen, he is an assistant professor at UC Davis, specializing in food and bioprocess engineering. Miller is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and has an impressive educational background with training from UC Berkeley, the University of Southern California, and UC Davis. He holds the UC Davis record for the fastest completion of a PhD in chemical engineering, having published 10 papers over 23 months. Miller has also authored a textbook on bioprocess facility design. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys mixed martial arts, competitive shooting, and spending quality time with his children, often giving them piggyback rides.
