Pursuant Health, established in 2007 under the name SoloHealth, offers free health screenings via kiosks located in retail stores, including a full rollout to Walmart stores completed in February 2019. The company operates more than 4,600 health kiosks across the United States, utilizing HIPAA-Compliant, FDA-Cleared Class II Medical Devices. Since its inception, Pursuant Health has conducted over 300 million health screenings. The company collaborates with seven of the largest managed care plans to engage members and also provides a population health management platform tailored for these health plans. Additionally, Pursuant Health offers a shopper marketing platform designed for consumer wellness brands. In 2010, the company received a $1.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It underwent a rebranding from SoloHealth to Pursuant Health in 2015 and entered the managed care space in 2016. Pursuant Health also introduced the first NCQA-Certified Visual Health Age Assessment in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Wellness and the American Diabetes Association.
