Rowena Cañete

Rowena Cañete serves as the Deputy Health Program Manager for the USAID/Philippines Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting for Improved Development (CLAimDev) activity. In her role, she is committed to advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Cañete champions equal rights and access to resources for both men and women, advocating for equal pay, shared household responsibilities, and the prevention of violence against women and girls. She believes that gender equality is crucial for economic prosperity and the overall health and safety of society.
