Dan Kirby

Dan Kirby is a prominent commercial executive in the pharmaceutical sector, currently holding the position of Team Lead Commercial. He has a rich history in the industry, having previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Omeros Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing market access, medical affairs, advocacy, marketing, sales, and operation functions. Kirby played a crucial role in the launch preparations for narsoplimab for HSCT-TMA at Omeros. Prior to his tenure at Omeros, he was the Vice President of US Commercial Cell and Gene Therapy at Celgene, where he managed market access, reimbursement, and marketing efforts for CAR T products. His role at Celgene came after the company’s acquisition of Juno Therapeutics, where Kirby was Vice President of Marketing and Market Access. Earlier in his career, he served as Head of Marketing at Medivation and spent over 14 years at Amgen in various commercial roles, accumulating a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
