Nomic Foundation

Nomic Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on advancing the Ethereum ecosystem. It provides open-source engineering software aimed at supporting Ethereum developers and empowering them to decentralize the world. The foundation develops and distributes projects such as Hardhat, Slang, and EDR. Hardhat is an Ethereum development environment designed for professionals, while Slang is a set of compiler APIs for Solidity code analysis, written in Rust and available in multiple languages. EDR is an Ethereum development runtime that can be reused to build new developer tools. Nomic Foundation operates as a remote team, tackling engineering challenges within the Ethereum ecosystem, and is supported by contributions from community members.
