Thomas C. Nolan

Thomas C. Nolan joined his current firm in 2020 as a partner, where he primarily focuses on driving operational improvement and growth by collaborating closely with management teams across the NMS portfolio. He brings over 12 years of experience in middle market private equity, having previously served as an Operating Director at Berkshire Partners, LLC from 2008 to 2020. During his tenure at Berkshire, Nolan led numerous strategic projects across diverse industries such as healthcare, distribution, industrial manufacturing, retail, and consumer goods. Prior to his private equity career, he held various operating roles at notable companies including Circuit City and Capital One Financial, and was the COO of Heritage Union, a start-up life insurance company. Nolan also worked as a consultant at Bain & Company and as a market development engineer at GE. He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 1995, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned in 1990.
