Jennifer Ruddock

Jennifer Ruddock serves as the Chief Business Officer at Nektar, a position she has held since joining the company in 2004. In her role, she oversees investor relations, business development, corporate marketing, corporate and employee communications, and public and government affairs functions. Prior to Nektar, Ruddock held leadership roles at Catellus Development Corporation and Tumbleweed Communications, focusing on investor relations, financial communications, and corporate marketing. Her earlier career included a specialization in high technology and healthcare sectors at Montgomery Securities, and she began her professional journey in medical device sales at Curtin Matheson Scientific. Ruddock also contributes to several boards and committees; she serves on the Board of Directors of the California Life Sciences Association, is a member of the Public Policy Committee of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and is a board member of the San Francisco Foster Youth Fund. She earned a B.A. in neuroscience from Colgate University in 1991.
