Muso

Muso is a health care organization operating in Mali and Côte d’Ivoire, focused on delivering rapid and proactive care through innovative health care systems. The organization has conducted over 16 million home visits by Community Health Workers, who are now recognized as salaried non-civil servant staff of Community Health Centers in Mali under a new collective agreement. Muso provides technical assistance to integrate research findings into policy and practice through partnerships with governments. It has documented areas in Mali with child mortality rates lower than any country in sub-Saharan Africa. In Côte d’Ivoire, Muso launched direct service delivery in Madinani to address critical delays in health care and established a new medication storage unit in the Odienné region to improve supply chain efficiency. Additionally, Muso advocates globally for rapid universal health care, engaging with governments and institutions to promote this cause.
