Last Mile Health

Last Mile Health partners with ministries of health to strengthen health systems and train health workers, focusing on delivering healthcare to remote communities. As of March 31, 2024, the organization has supported over 16.1 million people through its network of 14,511 community and frontline health workers in rural and remote areas. Last Mile Health has provided these workers with supervision, supplies, salaries, skills, information systems, and digital tools necessary for their operations. Specifically in Liberia, the organization has delivered 1,224,751 cumulative treatments to children under five. Operating in Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and other global locations, Last Mile Health also focuses on COVID-19 response and utilizes a digital platform for training and resource provision. Additionally, it engages in advocacy and research to improve health systems and policies, and offers extensive resources and training through its Community Health Academy.
