His career began as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he led the media and telecommunications practice and served as head of recruiting. He then transitioned to Time Warner, holding several executive roles including Vice President of Time Inc. Ventures, President of Time Warner Entertainment Marketing, and Publisher of Time International. Boutros-Ghali also designed the corporate venture fund for Saudi Aramco and served as a Senior Advisor to Interval Research, a Silicon Valley incubator founded by Paul Allen. As the founder and CEO of All Business, a B2B site aimed at small businesses, he successfully sold the company to GE-NBC.
