Lihua Yu

Lihua Yu is the Chief Data Officer (CDO) with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Boston University, where she studied under Dr. Temple Smith. She also holds an M.E. and B.E. in biomedical engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Yu previously led the Data Science function at Fog Pharma and co-led the discovery platform and new targets. She served as Chief Data Science Officer and President at H3 Biomedicine and was the cancer bioinformatics leader at AstraZeneca Oncology US. Yu has extensive experience in drug discovery, spanning from target identification to translational medicine, data science, and early clinical development. She is passionate about integrating and applying data science across research and development.
