Dr. Alejandro Galindo

Dr. Alejandro Galindo, after completing his PhD, began his career at a French startup where he was instrumental in developing the company’s core product. He assembled and led a multidisciplinary R&D team comprising experts in computer vision, physical simulation, rendering, and computer-aided design. His expertise in computer vision was honed at France’s prestigious INRIA institute. Currently, at Iris Automation, Dr. Galindo has developed the foundational technology and leads the R&D team focused on enhancing and expanding the capabilities of their solutions. His contributions to the field, particularly in autonomous drones, were recognized when he received the MIT Innovators Under 35 Award in 2017.
