Miriam Wardak

Miriam Wardak joined Interos in February 2020 as the Chief People Officer, tasked with establishing the company’s talent framework to support sustainable scaling. With a career marked by leadership in human resources, she has effectively led teams in both the public and private sectors, focusing on optimizing organizational performance and maximizing employee engagement. Prior to her current role, she led the People’s Operation function at Repairify Inc., known as asTech, a rapidly growing company based in Plano, Texas. Her previous responsibilities have spanned multiple operational domains including Finance, IT, Human Resources, and Facilities at Project HOPE, a global health development organization. Additionally, she has held significant roles such as the head of HR at ICF International, a government consulting firm in Washington DC, and was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at i2 Technologies, a global supply chain software company. Beyond her professional endeavors, Wardak is actively involved in community support, serving on the Member Advisory Counsel at People to People Health Foundation, a non-profit in India focused on public health. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and raised in Germany, she has been residing in the United States since 1990. Wardak is multilingual, fluent in German and Farsi, and conversational in Italian and French. She holds a B.A. from George Mason University and an M.B.A. from the University of Dallas.
