Lara Smith Weber

Lara Smith Weber serves as the Chief Financial Officer, bringing over two decades of leadership in finance and strategic planning for publicly traded companies across the U.S. and Europe. Her career is notably marked by a demonstrated history in the biotechnology industry. Prior to her current role, she was the Chief Financial Officer at ONWARD Medical and held various significant financial leadership positions at MorphoSys AG, including U.S. CFO and Senior VP of Controlling and Corporate Finance. Notably, she led MorphoSys AG’s successful Nasdaq IPO. Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in German studies and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University. Additionally, she earned an MBA from IMD in Switzerland.
