Chichi Offodile serves as the Chief Operations Officer for HeliumCredit, a fintech company focused on the healthcare sector. Under Offodile’s leadership, HeliumCredit successfully secured $30 million in Series-B funding to expand its operations. The company’s flagship product, HeliumCredit, has already provided over $3.5 million in credit to more than 200 healthcare facilities in Nigeria, with plans to increase this to 1,000 facilities by 2024. HeliumCredit’s impact is supported by significant partnerships, including funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and MSD for Mothers, aimed at enhancing maternal health programs. Additionally, HeliumOS, another product from the same company, is utilized by over 10,000 health workers to manage the care of more than 1 million patients. Offodile’s strategic vision addresses the substantial $66 billion annual financing deficit in Africa’s healthcare sector. Currently, HeliumCredit operates across six African markets and two GCC markets, employing 150 staff members across 10 countries, and maintains a strong commitment to supporting both private and public healthcare stakeholders.
