Their initiatives are categorized into several key areas: Children & Youth Services, Family & Community Services, Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice Services, Senior & Nutrition Services, and Vocational Services. EAC Network's Children & Youth Services

EAC Network's Children & Youth Services aim to support the development and well-being of young individuals. Programs like Chance to Advance provide opportunities for youth in foster care to enhance their educational and social skills. The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program trains volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system, while the Safe Start program focuses on promoting the effective and appropriate use of car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts to prevent injuries. These initiatives reflect EAC Network's commitment to nurturing the potential of children and youth.

EAC Network's Senior & Nutrition Services

EAC Network's Senior & Nutrition Services are designed to support the health and well-being of older adults. Programs such as Meals on Wheels deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors, ensuring they receive essential nutrition. The Community Guardianship program provides legal guardianship services to incapacitated adults, while the In-Home Respite Services offer relief to caregivers. Additionally, the Expanded In-home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP) provides comprehensive case management, in-home care, and ancillary services to help seniors maintain their independence and quality of life.

EAC Network's Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice Services

EAC Network's Behavioral Health & Criminal Justice Services address the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system. Programs like the Abusive Partner Intervention Program (APIP) and Alcohol Education Program (AEP) aim to modify harmful behaviors and reduce recidivism. The Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAM) program provides continuous alcohol monitoring for individuals with a serious history of alcohol misuse. Additionally, the Bronx and Queens Community Re-entry Assistance Networks (CRAN) offer transitional case management services for individuals with severe mental illness reentering New York City from Rikers Island, facilitating their reintegration into society.
