Rashmirekha Pandit

Rashmirekha Pandit has applied a multi-disciplinary approach to development, integrating grassroots movements, government bodies, and empowerment strategies. Her work with the Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation, which is recognized by the Ministry of Rural Development of the Government of India, has involved leading and supporting the creation of sustainable ecosystems for community-based and owned livelihood interventions through entrepreneurship. This work spans over 120 blocks in 17 states across rural India. Rashmirekha completed her undergraduate studies in Geography at Miranda House and earned a postgraduate degree in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology-Guwahati. Beyond her professional expertise in Project Monitoring, Stakeholder Management, Business Development, and Adult-learning based Module development, she engages in reading, writing, reciting, and drawing as forms of self-expression and leisure. Rashmirekha holds a strong belief in the individual capacity to effect change towards a better world.
