Michael Bertino

Michael Bertino, co-founder and current Head of Product at Bountiful, has a background in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His early career involved working with Stellar Exploration, a small satellite startup, where he contributed to the design and construction of Lightsail-1 and Lightsail-2, both experimental 3U CubeSats. He successfully led three major satellite missions, which included pioneering the first 6U CubeSats for AIS communications, as well as developing 6U and 16U imaging satellites. At Bountiful, Bertino focuses on streamlining analytics for imagery produced by the new space industry and spearheads the product team in creating advanced tools tailored for the agricultural sector.
