LaTosha Brown is the Co-Founder of the Southern Black Girls & Women’s Consortium, a $100 million, 10-year initiative aimed at empowering Black girls and women in the Southern United States. She is a recognized expert on Black voting rights, voter suppression, Black women’s empowerment, and philanthropy. In 2021, Glamour Magazine named her one of their ‘Women of the Year’. Brown holds multiple leadership roles at Harvard Kennedy School, including the 2020 Hauser Leader at the Center for Public Leadership and the 2020 Leader in Practice at the Women and Public Policy Program. Additionally, she was a 2020-2021 American Democracy Fellow at the Charles Warren Center at Harvard. As an international businesswoman, she has worked in 23 different countries. Her work and insights have been featured in numerous media outlets such as ABC, CBS, CNN, Democracy Now, PBS, the New York Times, Politico, and Essence. She has also appeared in the docuseries ‘What’s Eating America?’, ‘American Swamp’, and ‘Finding Justice’.
