Cliff Albright is a political economist, speaker, and activist, known for his work in voter mobilization and economic development, particularly within the Black community.

Cliff Albright is a co-founder, political economist, speaker, and activist with a deep understanding of the intersection between Black politics and Black economics. He began his activism journey as a junior at Cornell University, leading student protests related to financial aid, and later co-led a movement that resulted in the college’s first Latino Living Learning Unit. Albright holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and an M.P.S. in Africana Studies from Cornell University, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama. He specializes in voter mobilization strategies, economic development, and Black political economy, and has extensive knowledge of the history of the voting rights movement and current battles against voter suppression. In 2017, he garnered national attention for his work in the U.S. Senate race between Doug Jones and Roy Moore. Albright has traveled through thirteen primarily southern states on ‘The Blackest Bus in America’ to energize voters and address issues of voter suppression. An award-winning activist and advocate for racial justice, he was named a Soros Equality Fellow in 2020. His insights have been featured on major news networks such as CNN, Democracy Now, MSNBC, and The Last Word, and his Op-Eds have been published in The New York Times, Blavity, The Guardian, and TruthOut.
