BioLabs Company Information

BioLabs is an international, membership-based network of shared lab and office facilities located in key biotech innovation clusters. Since its launch, BioLabs has supported over 500 life science companies, which have collectively created over 800 jobs and raised more than $5 billion in funding. BioLabs and its strategic partners have awarded over 50 golden tickets since 2018, providing winners with one year of membership and access to a dedicated laboratory bench at a BioLabs site.

BioLabs offers flexible and state-of-the-art co-working lab and office spaces across various locations. In the USA, BioLabs has facilities in New Haven, North Carolina, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Diego, Princeton, North Texas, and North Cambridge. The New Haven location features 41,000 sqft of lab and office space, including 15 private labs, 35 community benches, 15 private offices, and 28 workstations. The North Carolina location is situated in a unique biotech co-working facility in downtown Durham. The Los Angeles location at The Lundquist Institute offers 18,000 sqft of flexible co-working lab and office space. The Philadelphia location at The Curtis features lab and office spaces ranging from a single bench or desk up to 2,000 sqft graduate suites. The San Diego location is designed to be the premier co-working space for life science startups. The Princeton location offers a supportive and scalable shared office and lab space with strategic access to capital and industry partners. The North Texas location at Pegasus Park offers 37,000 sqft of flexible co-working lab and office facilities. The Eisai Innovation Center in North Cambridge is a boutique biotech accelerator focused on neurology, oncology, immunology, and infectious diseases.

In Europe, BioLabs has locations in Heidelberg, Germany, and Paris, France. The Heidelberg location spans approximately 2,000 m² in a newly constructed modular building on the HIP campus. The Hôtel-Dieu location in Paris is part of the @Hôtel-Dieu initiative to develop a place of open innovation in health.

BioLabs also offers the BioLabs Marketplace, an end-to-end cloud-based procurement platform used to purchase research tools and other supplies. Additionally, the Tufts Launchpad in Boston is a fully equipped co-working and shared lab space for life science startups.
