Neely Mozaffarian

Neely Mozaffarian joined Atomwise in September 2023 as the Chief Medical Officer, where she leads the company’s drug development efforts. Prior to this role, she served as the Chief Medical Officer at GentiBio and was a Vice President in Immunology at Janssen Pharmaceuticals. Mozaffarian has also held significant positions at Ichnos Sciences, Gilead, Lilly, AbbVie, and Bristol Myers Squibb. She received her MD and PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed her training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her career is marked by a strong track record in medical leadership and innovation in drug development.
