Izhar Wallach

Izhar Wallach serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, bringing a robust educational and professional background to his role. He earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) and proceeded to obtain both his Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. His doctoral research concentrated on developing algorithms to reduce biases in molecular docking, a critical area in computational biology. Wallach’s academic contributions have been recognized through his extensive publication in various scientific journals. Beyond academia, he has significant industrial research experience from his time at Keddem Bioscience, a start-up focused on small-molecule drug discovery. At Keddem, he developed innovative algorithms for pharmacophore inference and the design of universal screening libraries, further highlighting his expertise in both theoretical and applied aspects of computer science and bioinformatics.
