AquaCal has been manufacturing quality heat pumps since 1981, providing energy-efficient solutions that transfer free heat from the air rather than creating it. The company offers a wide range of heat pump models, including the HeatWave SuperQuiet®, TropiCal®, Great Big Bopper®, Water Source, SunPower, and TropiCool® models, designed to meet the heating needs of both small above-ground pools and large commercial facilities. AquaCal’s heat pumps are known for their durability and reliability and are made in the U.S.A. Additionally, AquaCal provides water chillers, such as the TropiCool® Water Chiller, to lower the temperature of swimming pools and create cold plunge pools for therapy. The company also manufactures salt chlorine generators under the AutoPilot® brand for pool sanitation and produces specialty chemicals for pool water maintenance under the Lo-Chlor® brand. AquaCal imports natural stone for exterior sand set applications through StoneHardscapes and offers a range of aquaculture systems, including recirculating systems, hatchery systems, aquaponics, and aquariums. The company provides various educational resources, including FAQs, video tutorials, ebooks, and dealer seminars, and offers tools like the Sizing & Savings Estimator to help customers determine the right heat pump size for their pool. AquaCal’s PoolSync® System allows users to control their heat pump with their phone, and the PoolSync® Relay Center can control pool/spa/landscape lighting and valve actuators. The ChemSync® Water Chemistry Controller automatically measures and adjusts pH and ORP levels in pool water. AquaCal is affiliated with Team Horner Group, an employee-owned company, and donates $2.24 of every heat pump sold in 2024 to the Every Child a Swimmer initiative.
